Health Initiative for Men (HIM) is a Vancouver based non-profit organization that supports the GBTQ2S+ community with free or by donation health services and programs. This organization has several health clinics located around metro Vancouver, the interior region of British Columbia, the Northern region, and Vancouver Island. HIM services and programs are categorized in 4 distinct pillars: Sexual, Physical, Mental, and Social Health. These programs can be both in-person or online.
To promote its services and scheduled activities, HIM relies a lot on social media marketing in platforms like FaceBook, Instagram, and MeetUp. Traditional print out-of-home marketing is also used around the community.
I had the opportunity to work for this non-profit for 2 years. As a Communications Specialist, I was responsible for managing the brand and its assets, managing print suppliers, producing digital and print marketing assets to promote its services and programs, maintaining social media accounts, and producing content marketing from time to time.
Usual projects from this client include but are not limited to: Social Media Posts and Ads, Social Media videos, Emails and Newsletters, Website and Landing Pages, Infographics, Animated Videos, Posters, Brochures, Misc. Merch (such as shirts, lanyards, etc), Internal Slide Decks/Presentations, and Digital and Print Reports.
